This blog is made by the office interns at the Impact Entrepreneurship Group. Bootuplabs and Strutta has kindly provided us with part of their office to use for the month of August. We work in the office more or less full time, and we call ourselves the “Intrepid Impact In-Office Interns” or “4-I’s” (Get it )

We have 2 main projects that we are working on this month, and if you would like to help us, please let us know!

Project 1: Microcredit Competition (One week, $100, One challenge)

This competition will take place in October all across Canada. 200 teams of 3 to 5 people will be given $100 to make as much profits as possible. All profits are donated to charity, and there are 6 categories in which participants could win cool prizes. Project 2: Youth Canada

Did you ever go back to school from a lousy summer vacation only to find out your friends have been doing cool things at various summer programs all over Canada? Have you ever thought, “darn, why didn’t I know about this before?” when they discribed all their interesting adventures to you? Have you ever wondered how many essay competition there are in Canada (Which is quite a few by the way)? Well, look no further, youthcanada.ca is where you want to be. All the interns (virtual and office) have been working diligently for the relaunch of this awesome website. http://www.youthcanada.ca is ultimate resource guide (or it will be) for high school students in Canada. It contains a wealth of information about programs, contests, and scholarships as well as many helpful articles from “How to pull and all nighter” to “The proper way to hold chopsticks”.
